Mother & Son Duo Win Best Director’s Award at Yellowstone FF.

Mother and Son Directing duo Maite Martin-Samos and Jesse Samos Leaman take home the Award for ‘Best Director’ in a short Documentary at Yellowstone International Film Festival! Thank you for having us and appreciating this little documentary, as it helps warm hearts and shape the way we think of our little feathered family.

Mother of chooks started off as a personal endeavour for the mother and son duo, as something fun for the two to bond over together. They never knew the Documentary would have the trajectory it has, taking the world by storm playing across the world to critical acclaim, warming the hearts of thousands.

After it’s WORLD PREMIERE at the highly esteemed HOT DOCS Film Festival in Canada, the short 20 minute documentary has gone on to play at festvials such as Doc Edge in New Zealand, Brooklyn Film Festival and many more.
